Back in October, Happy performed in the opening production of the Youth Section China Shanghai International Arts Festival with his musical theatre troupe. The English original musical Bring It On was selected as the festival opener and is often described as a teenage version of Hamilton. It explores the challenges of growing up through the story of Campbell, a high school cheerleader facing team changes, shifting identities and personal setbacks.

At only 11 years old, Happy was the youngest performer chosen, joining a cast of talented 15 to 18 year olds. He completed the full two-hour production with confidence and professionalism, marking an important milestone in his musical theatre journey.
Happy’s passion for the arts has led to wide-ranging creative experiences, awards and leading roles. Since discovering English musical theatre in 2023, he has already played the lead in three full-scale productions. Performing on larger stages and learning from experienced professionals continues to inspire him.
Well done, Happy, and keep performing!

Alina has had an incredible year of sport, filled with standout performances and inspiring determination. In Spring 2025, she travelled to Chengdu for the NAE Multisports Competition and shone in the U9 category. She powered her way to first place in the long jump, discus throw and parachute run, claimed second place in the 100 metre race and secured third place in the 60 metre race. She also scored the decisive goal in the girls’ football match, helping her team to victory. Thanks to this fantastic set of results, Alina received the trophy for Best U9 Female Athlete at this event.

Her success continued throughout the year in the notoriously difficult Spartan Races. On 15 June she took third place in the Open Category, and on 5 October she participated in the Elite Category, earning an impressive sixth place finish. Competing against older athletes did not intimidate her. Instead, it pushed her to show even greater resilience.
Most recently, Alina took on the Obstacle Race at the Beijing National Olympic Sports Centre. The competition was exceptionally strong, and although she finished just outside the top ten, she took the experience in her stride. She knows that every race helps her grow, and she is determined to keep progressing.
Alina’s drive, courage and positive attitude make her a wonderful role model. We are incredibly proud of her sporting journey and cannot wait to see what she achieves next.
