On Friday, 20 November, we will celebrate World Children's Day at NAISR. World Children’s Day is UNICEF’s annual day of action for children, by children. The theme for this year is Climate Change and many fun activities and workshops have been planned for the students.

School-wide:  All students are asked to wear blue

Elementary:

  • PK - G5:  Various STUCO led activities from 14:15 in classrooms.

  • G4 - G5:  Guest speaker, Philine van Overbeeke, will give an interactive lesson about UNICEF from 9:30 to 11:15.

High School:

  • MS and HS students will participate in several workshops run by our CAS students throughout the day in the gym, which will be based around the Sustainable Development Goals and the Convention of the Rights of the Child.

Finally, in regards to the theme of Climate Change and social impact, Wesley dos Santos, a 'Rotterdamer' and influencer has been invited to speak to our students about Climate Change and how to be environmentally responsible.

We look forward to celebrating World Children's Day with our students on Friday, 20 November.

Are you ready for World Children’s Day? As a parent, you can also get involved by helping your children to know their rights.
