COVID-19 | NAIS Rotterdam - Covid 19
On this page you can find out all the latest information about the measures that we have put in place to protect our community from COVID-19.

These measures have been developed based on the directives and guidance of:

  • The Dutch National Institute for Public Health (RIVM).

  • The Public Health Department (GGD Rotterdam-Rijnmond)

  • NAISR’s Senior Leadership Team, including Ms. Kim van Sickle, our school nurse.

  • Best practice shared by our 70 Nord Anglia sister schools.

Last updated: 24 August 2021, 11:00 (we recommend refreshing your page to check for updates):

  • Primary and Secondary School students are all on campus for face to face learning full time.

  • We follow the current advice which can be found here.

  • Secondary students, staff, and visitors must wear a face mask on the school campus and when moving throughout the school building.

  • Parents and visitors may only enter the school building with a pre-arranged appointment.

Our commitment to providing a quality learning experience for all our students is at the heart of every decision we make. For the school year 2021-2022, we are implementing a number of protocols that will enable our students to safely access their learning on campus. Our planning is based on two interconnected priorities that we have for this school year:

  1. To ensure the health and safety or our students, our faculty, our staff, and our community.
  2. To ensure continuity of learning for our students as they pursue growth and learning goals in the next year.

Based on local government and global best practice guidelines, our health and safety initiatives are focused on four key principles: Screen, Clean, Hygiene, Distance. We need your help and cooperation in making sure these measures are effective for the safety and wellbeing of our entire community.
