The launch assembly informed the children about the four key areas; What is Global Campus? What is a Global Passport? How do I get online? How can I get involved? Both students and teachers were excited – all of whom were eager to get straight on to the new platform.
It is safe to say that the new Global Campus site is bigger and better than last year. There’s a whole host of relevant, edgy and interactive activities. There are forums to post on, projects to complete and mini-adventures to take part in. Once again, there will be competitions for the children to take part in; such as the extremely successful Writing Competition. The children will be coming home at the end of the week equipped with their Global Passport and accompanying letters. It is hoped they will be able to guide you around, with a few eager individuals desperate to get started no doubt!
On Tuesday 1 December, from 8:45am – 9:30am, Stage One in primary campus is playing host to a Global Campus Parent Workshop. Due to the reinvigorated website and content, this will be informative for all parents, not just new ones.
This is an exciting launch for the school, and one that we hope will encourage our children to interact with pupils who attend Nord Anglia Education schools across the world. Keep reading the blog for updates about our successes and participation in the coming months.
