Key Stage 2 Choir Singing at Downtown Hotel

13 december 2016

This time of year is definitely a busy one for the music department and last week was no exception.

  • Key Stage 2 Choir Singing at Downtown Hotel
  • Key Stage 2 Choir Singing at Downtown Hotel
  • Key Stage 2 Choir Singing at Downtown Hotel

On Wednesday evening the Key Stage 2 Audition Choir travelled downtown after school to attend the annual Christmas Lighting Ceremony at the East Regal International Hotel. Year after year we are invited back to sing at this event and each time the choir thoroughly enjoy being part of such a festive occasion.

After indulging in a hotel buffet, we donned our Santa hats and took to the stage (well the stairs) ready to perform a selection of Christmas Carols and songs. A special mention to Kaya Yapp in 5C who sang the solo first verse of Once in Royal David’s City confidently and beautifully.

As always our singers were impeccably behaved and represented the school brilliantly. Merry Christmas!
