Year 1 Visit Minhang Park

24 mei 2017

On Tuesday the Year 1 children braved the rain and headed to Minhang park. We had a fantastic day searching for different plants and insects.

We managed to spot some butterflies, snails, bees, beetles and spiders. The children also enjoyed sketching the different types of plants. They focused on adding details based upon their different shapes and sizes.

The children also enjoyed playing on the park and in the sand pit. It was lovely to see them working as a team and taking turns. When arriving back at school they enjoyed their indoor picnic whilst excitedly talking about their visit.
