The Year 7 Assembly: Attitude

This week, 7P lead the Year 7 assembly with the theme of “Attitude”. They informed the students of the importance of having a positive mindset.

They even used real life examples of famous people who had a positive attitude and the great rewards it gave them. Last week, 7I led the assembly under the theme of one of the sustainable Development Goals, world hunger. The demonstrated how food is not evenly spread across the world and how much it impacts someone life if they are persistently hungry. Both weeks students have not only developed their presenting skills but also had the chance to reflect on their hard work. Over 46 students in year 7 have already received their Bronze Merit Award, for impressing their teachers over 25 times! Three students have also achieved their silver award due to lots of hard work and dedication in their studies. Students are being ambitious to reach their Gold Merit Award by the end of the school year (100 merits).
