Pippa Proust

Pippa Proust

Pre-Nursery Teacher

Pippa completed a BSc in Psychology at the University of Sussex, UK, where she developed an interest in child development. Following this she moved to Cambridge to take an MPhil in Social and Developmental Psychology, focusing on contemporary issues in child development. It was during this time that Pippa developed her interest in education and made the decision to train to be a teacher. She completed her P.G.C.E. at the University of Cambridge, UK and took a position working at a village school in Cambridgeshire. She has taught in both Key Stages.

Pippa has undertaken a Master of Education, focusing on developing oracy using picture books. She is passionate about developing her education practice and being innovative in the classroom. Pippa has volunteered at schools in Zambia and Honduras. It was during these experiences abroad that she became interested in international education and working outside of the United Kingdom. She is really looking forward to working at BISS Puxi.
