Robert Henry Nolan

Year 6 Class Teacher

Robert is an experienced and enthusiastic educator who has had the opportunity to expand his professional horizons and practise his teaching in a variety of diverse classroom dynamics, countries and unique cultures, such as Ireland, China, Mexico and Macau.Having been awarded his B.Ed from St.Patrick’s College, Dublin, in 2010, he has taught at both upper and lower primary levels, utilising various curricula to enhance the learning experience of each of his young learners. 

 

Robert has proven himself to be an active member of each community he has taught in, facilitating extra-curricular classes in art, world languages, poetry recitation and athletics, helping his pupils to surpass personal goals and achieve success in national competitions too. Robert is eager and excited to contribute to the stimulating and engaging learning community that is BISS Puxi.

Robert is a motivated and creative individual with a passion for languages, art, film and fitness. He fosters a keen belief in life-long learning and self-development, embracing new experiences and challenges as learning opportunities. Robert is fluent in Irish and proficient in Spanish, but intends to turn his focus to Mandarin this academic year. He loves to illustrate and has facilitated many community projects and extra-curricular art classes in recent years, believing creating to be a vital and meaningful part of each child’s holistic development. He is a big cinema fan and enjoys hitting the gym too.
