Heather He

Teacher of Mandarin

Heather chose to teach Mandarin as a career after graduating from East China Normal University in Shanghai. Before she joined Biss Puxi inJanuary 2016, she worked for more than six years at international School in Shanghai as a Mandarin teacher.

'Be creative, be ambitious, be dedicated' - these are the traits that Heather encourages in her students, and she believes that teacher and student can learn from each other. Heather really enjoys being a Mandarin teacher, and likes teaching students from all around the world. She encourages her students to be positive, thoughtful and creative people. Alongside this, Heather believes that it is also important to have good communication with students and their parents.

In her spare time, Heather enjoys a variety of interests including reading, singing, hiking and cooking. She has one daughter, and together they often sing songs and read books; they are more like good friends. Heather also loves spending time in the kitchen with her family, although she doesn't believe that she is very good at cooking.
