On Thursday 26th September, Year 9, 10 and 11 students were lucky enough to watch the play ‘An Inspector Calls’ live.
Lollipop Productions, a theatre company from Dubai, came to BIS Abu Dhabi to perform. Seeing this production was both enjoyable and useful for the students, who are either currently doing their GCSEs and studying the play or are in the final stage of KS3 and will study it next school year.
Watching the play live was significant in student’s understanding of the characters, context and meaning of the play which is extremely useful for their achievements when studying the play as part of the GCSE course. Combined with this, the play was exciting and enjoyed by everyone who went.
