I have a passion for writing and studied for an Undergraduate degree in English and Creative Writing at the University of Salford and graduated in 2012. In 2013 I then started a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at Edge Hill University, specialising in English, and completed this in 2014. During my time as a PGCE student, I trained in a variety of schools in the town of Blackpool. I then completed my NQT year, teaching a Year 3 class in a Community school in Poulton-Le-Fylde, Blackpool. After this induction year in the UK I then pursued international teaching and worked as a Year 1 teacher at Traill International School, in Bangkok. I worked there for three years before securing a job here at St Andrews International School Bangkok in 2018.
I grew up in the seaside town of Blackpool, in the North-West of England, and I have always had an affinity with travelling and experiencing new places and cultures. I am an energetic person and enjoy cooking, and try myr best to replicate delicious Thai dishes at home. In my spare time I like to go running, play badminton and explore Bangkok; searching for new restaurants that pop up around the city.
St Andrews International School Bangkok is different from other schools because of the fantastic Inclusion programme and the amazing staff-team-spirit that takes place.
