I completed my teacher training in 2004 and throughout my career I have worked in all year groups across Key Stage 2. After finishing university, I spent a year teaching a mixed age Year 3 and 4 class in my home town of Blackpool and then spent 2 years teaching in Poland. In 2007 I moved back to the UK and worked at a small school in Leeds where I spent 7 years teaching various year groups in Key Stage 2.
After visiting Thailand in 2010, I decided that I wanted to teach at an international school and so in 2013, myself, my wife and our son, Tymek moved to Bangkok to work at a different school. After hearing such amazing things about St Andrews International School Bangkok, its staff and the children, I really wanted to be part of this team and for my children to come to this fantastic school. I'm really looking forward to developing as a teacher and providing the children in my class with a growth mindset and the skills they need to succeed in life.
Outside of teaching, I like to spend time with my family seeing the sights of Bangkok which for our children are usually Funarium, Kidzania and Molly Fantasy World. I have a son, Tymek and a daughter Hania, who both come to St Andrews. I also like to follow the results of my favourite football team, Blackpool FC and play golf. I enjoy playing football as a goalkeeper and I am often referred to as 'The Cat' due to my extraordinary ability to pounce across the goal when saving shots.
