There was lots of glitter and paint around as everyone was busy decorating Christmas trees, printing Christmas shapes with potatoes and making shiny lollipop stars. All great activities to encourage the development of the children's fine motor skills. As well as creative play activities the children also sang a selection of their favourite Christmas songs to their mummies and daddies, and it was extremely pleasing to see just how confident the younger members of our school have become in such a short time.
This term has been a very busy one for all the children in the Early Years and it will be great to see them back in the New Year after having a well-earned rest and ready to continue on their learning journey.
In the meantime we would like to take this opportunity to wish you all and your children a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
The Early Years Team.
