They enjoyed a variety of activities including food tasting, talking about their favourite “home” dish and describing the various tastes of food. We had a quiz about the origin of various foods and activities to match food with countries.
KS1 children learnt how to describe what they have and what they haven’t got in their lunch box and the KS2 children read about some interesting foods, would you eat spiders?, a delicacy in some parts of Africa and Asia.
All this talk about food left us feeling very hungry by the end of some lessons!
