The children started by chopping, slicing and dicing real fruit such as kiwi and melon. They then half-filled a mold with apple juice, topping it up with limeade to give their lollies a fizzy tang! On completion, they were sent to the freezers overnight to solidify.
The Reception pupils thoroughly enjoyed discussing how things change state when they freeze and what conditions liquids can freeze in. They were very curious about how their creations would turn out!
