Chinese update

This week children in different Chinese groups had a lot of fun with writing, acting and speaking.

In Year 2 Forbidden City children read a story ‘The Little Lamb Flew Away’. They added the ending to this story with their fantastic imagination and tried to retell the story to the rest of the class.

Y4 children in Summer Palace continued to explore Chinese ancient poems and looked for the answer to those interesting questions, such as ‘which is the latest Chinese ancient poem in China’, ‘why do we need to learn ancient poems’, etc.

In Early Years, Reception children did role play - they pretended to be either a staff or a customer and practised some short dialogues that would happen in a supermarket.

All enjoyed their Chinese lessons made progress continuously.
