Choir gearing up for Christmas

After their captivating performance at the Li Building Opening Ceremony last week, members of BSB Sanlitun’s Performance Choir are gearing up for their programme of Christmas events.

Everyone is working extremely hard and devoting lots of time to learning lyrics, melodies and harmonies in order to give the very best performances they can. The children are also becoming experts at how to present and hold themselves confidently on stage, combining many of the core elements of the performing arts.

What’s more, the (already amazing!) sound just gets better every time they rehearse so we can be sure that every Christmas performance will be a hit! Indeed, the students are in great demand; the word is quickly spreading around Beijing and, with its Christmas schedule now full, the choir is now having to turn down engagements.

We are hugely indebted to Miss Iva, who is responsible for the development of the choir over the years and for the sumptuous, professional sound that we have come to expect from these students. If you haven’t heard it before, do take the opportunity when the choir performs at the BSB Sanlitun Christmas Cracker event on 2nd December. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
