The immersive program provides an intense two-week experience for talented students ages 12-18 focused on developing their abilities further – taking their playing to the next level. Students will be challenged to raise their technical and musical levels in both solo and ensemble contexts through detailed study of prepared repertoire and exploration of new repertoire.
Musicianship, collaboration, and technical achievement will be paramount, working towards culminating final performances.
Use new skills to play with passion and depth
Over the course of two weeks, the students will develop their technical abilities and use their new skills to play with passion and depth. Each student will receive multiple private one-to-one lessons with Juilliard artist faculty. There will be daily string orchestra rehearsals and chamber music coachings, as well as opportunities to participate in seminars and workshops that may include:
- Group performance classes
- Music theory/composition
- Conducting seminar
At Nord Anglia Chinese International School students are housed in the brand new boarding facility. Students have access to creatively designed recreational areas where they can socialise with their peers, relax, play games or read. Our first priority is to make sure that your child is safe, looked after, happy, and supported. We aim to create a home away from home.
