EAL update

It’s that time again where we begin our new topics in EAL.

We’ve begun learning about imperatives in Year 1, with the SS giving each other orders through activities such as Simple Simon. Year 2 have decided to start thinking about going for a picnic as summer is right around the corner. The foods they’ve been learning about are just some of the things they’ve put into their picnic baskets. They sure do look scrumptious.

At the higher end of the school, students have started learning about things you find in the rainforest as they began their new rainforest topic, bringing them to meet new tribes of forgotten people. Finally, Year 6 has begun delving into the mysteries of the Titanic, even going so far as to create their own passenger profiles of people that were on the ship. Who knows where they’ll go next in EAL!
