Some groups have met new characters like ‘Thunder, Flash, Misty and Whisper’, ‘Ben and Lucy’ or ‘Phoebe, Alex and Patrick’ who will help guide them through adventures and help the children learn the new language.
The children have worked in pairs and in groups to strengthen their speaking skills and they have learnt some amazing vocabulary with online activities, interactive apps, colourful worksheets and flashcards. The students have been listening, speaking, reading and writing to help master the vocabulary they have been learning, and finally, they’ve used their self-regulating skills to check their understanding in a positive and effective way.
They are enjoying the interaction among the EAL teachers in the new EAL department, which gives them more opportunities to learn in different ways and creative styles.
