Singing, singing and more singing!

It has been a busy, exhausting but wonderful few weeks for the Performing Arts team, here at BSB Sanlitun. Christmas time is near and you can tell as soon as you enter the buildings. Corridors and halls are echoing filed in with angelic voices, in both, San and Li Buildings as the kids are putting final touches on their productions and Christmas performances.

In Nursery, the children are working hard to learn songs for their Christmas sing-a-long event with parents, whilst the Reception kids are practicing hard their stage positions and trembling in excitement to perform to their parents and families later this week.

Our Year 2 students are also putting some final touches on their “Bubbles” Christmas play that will be performed next week, whilst the older pupils in our Performance Choir are still touring around Beijing. And as the songs are resonating through packed halls and hotel lobbies ensuring that the visitors are filled with festive cheer throughout the events, once again our Performance Choir proved their versatility by mixing traditional carols with challenging pop numbers, compelling the audience to dance along as they watched.
