The Macaws' Impressive Connection Finding Skills

The Macaws have been using their connection finding skills and collaboration skills to help teach other children their 9x table.

The children explored the 9x table to find patterns that would help them and their peers remember the 9x table. While exploring this, the children quickly found a connection between the tens column and the ones column, noticing that one ascends, as the other descends. The children then noticed another connection with this, as they soon discovered that after 9x5 both columns then switch patterns.

With these methods and others, the children then used IMovie to create an informative video that was then played to the class, teaching their peers all of the different methods and patterns that had been discovered. Why not ask your child to explain some of these to you?
