‘Horrible’ Child Characters

This week, the Year 2 children have been creating their own ‘horrible’ child characters to join Charlie Bucket and the other children who visit Willy Wonka’s factory in ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’.

The children have been using similes, adjectives and adverbs to describe their characters in different ways.

The children have also begun thinking of imaginative ways their characters might meet their end in the factory, just like the characters we have read about in Roald Dahls book.

Next week, the children will begin planning the scene where their character meets their end. We cannot wait to see all their amazing and humorous ideas!
