Start your day with a live PE lesson from our PE department. Make sure that you have space to move and water nearby.

9.30-10.00

While you are cooling down, watch the Monday assembly with Mrs Nield to hear about the Learners of the Week and to see some of the wonderful work and initiatives that have been going on in the Virtual School that week.

Watch your class teachers video to introduce the learning for the day and then download the activities you will need from TEAMS.

10.00-11.00

English Lesson on Limericks

Watch the ShowMe video about rhyming from your teacher to explain all about rhyming. Then complete your activity from Teams.

If you want some extra challenge, complete the online LBQ task using today’s code.

Spelling:

Watch the Handwriting ShowMe video and copy the words out 3 times. Practise and test yourself on Friday.

SPaG:

Complete the Spelling Punctuation and Grammar mat to keep your skills sharp!

11.00- 11.15

11.15 -12.15pm

Have some lunch and a brain break with a favourite activity such as colouring or Lego.

1.15-2.15pm

Maths – comparing fractions

Follow the ‘Building a fractions wall’ video to see how to make your own fraction wall to help you.   Watch your teachers ShowMe video to see how to compare fractions.

When you are ready, go onto the Learning By Questions site and complete today’s activity.

Optional Challenge 1: Use your fraction wall to help you create at least 5 pairs of fractions using < or >, to compare with different numbers of tenths.

Optional Challenge 2: Can you take pictures of fractions in action? Perhaps you could create a Lego model to compare different colours or show how many slices you have sectioned your pizza into and then compare with how many slices you have eaten? Get creative!

2.15pm – 2.45pm

Get ready for the Guided Reading call. Read the next 2 chapters of the text and prepare your answers to the questions.

2.45-3.30pm

Attend the live Guided Reading to discuss the class text with your friends.
