After completing my Early Years Childhood Master’s Degree at the University of Melbourne in December 2015, I started my teaching journey and for the past 5 years I have been lead teacher at 2 independent Kindergartens in Australia. I recently returned to Beijing to continue my teaching career.
I respect individual child’s needs, interests and learning styles. With a comprehensive understanding of the children’s stages of development, individual learning needs, and engaging teaching skills, I can provide quality play-based and inquiry-based learning programmes to support children achieve whole child development. I am committed to providing children with a safe, nurturing and holistic learning environment, combining intentional teaching and child-centered learning. I have a strong passion for Early Years music and movement and enjoy incorporating this into the classroom to maximise individual learning potential.
In my spare time, I enjoy singing and watching movies. I love being at the beach and watching the sunset! It is so peaceful and beautiful, and fills me with joy!
When I was in Melbourne, I worked together with other dedicated educators and I believe that working at BSB Sanlitun with the Early Years team will be another wonderful journey. I am looking forward to inspiring young children and helping them not only discover, explore and create but to foster a love for learning and develop life-long skills and dispositions.
