I have a BA degree in Archaeology and History of Art from La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. In 2008 I carried out my PGCE at London South Bank University. I spent the first 5 years of my teaching career at British school in Cairo, Egypt until moving to BSB in 2013. I felt that BSB offered many wonderful opportunities to develop myself further as a teacher.
I teach because I believe young people should maximize their abilities. I do this by providing a safe, enjoyable and importantly, a well ordered learning environment. I aim to provide well-structured and interesting lessons with a variety of learning activities, something I believe the British curriculum achieves with its cross curricular approach to education.
Having grown up in a number of countries I have always had a passion for travel. I spend most of my holidays visiting different countries and experiencing all they have to offer. I enjoy visiting galleries and historical sites and greatly enjoy sport and outdoor activities.
