From a young age I loved school and always imagined being a primary teacher. After finishing college with my goal of teaching still firmly in place, I applied for Bachelor of Arts degree in Primary Education and studied at Roehampton University.
I started my teaching career in London and ended up teaching there for six years, from Reception up to Year Six. Every summer holiday I looked forward to the adventure of travelling to a new place, to learn about new counties and cultures (always with my favourite hobby with me, my hula hoop!). Yearly adventures around the world inspired me teach internationally. My first international school was in Mexico City and it became my second home for six happy years!
Having now completed two years in China I have thoroughly enjoyed being Panthers class teacher in The British School of Beijing, Sanlitun. For the next academic year I am looking forward to beginning a new adventure as Toucans class teacher, with the new opportunities it will bring.
