I graduated from Dublin City University with a Bachelor degree in Education in 2014. I was a class teacher and PE Coordinator in a Central London school. While in London, I organised many competitions and events, within our school borough. I spent 4 years as a primary teacher and learning support teacher in a large school in Dublin, Ireland before joining BSB Sanlitun.
I am an experienced educator who has a passion for physical education. In childhood, sport and fitness enabled me to develop confidence and build friendships. This is something I feel every child should experience. I am passionate about giving children an ethos of teamwork, sportsmanship and positive social interaction. I will work to instil a lifelong love of sport and fitness in all the children at BSB Sanlitun, for their future health and wellbeing.
I spend most of my free time hiking and exploring; I love the outdoors. I started playing sport and engaging in physical activity at the age of six; it has been a huge part of my life ever since. I have played basketball, Camogie and Gaelic Football (Irish national games) at a high level. I have joined the Beijing GAA team since moving to Beijing in 2019. I love to travel and hope to visit much of Asia, during my time in Beijing.
