Physical Education Teacher

After graduating from the University of Wales, Cardiff, I began working with children with various behavior and learning difficulties in Slough. I quickly learnt that helping young people was something I was passionate about, so I completed my PGCert at Brunel University in West London. Since then, I have been fortunate to teach a wide variety of age groups from various cultures and backgrounds.

My first teaching position was in a secondary school in Leicester, but soon after I began working with primary children in Milton Keynes. The school had a department for children with special educational needs which allowed me to continue to develop professionally.

In 2013, I moved to Dubai to gain some international teaching experience, and to broaden my teaching horizons by working with a different demographic. It was in Dubai that I met my wife Jenni, who is also a staff member at the British International School of Boston. After moving with my wife and daughter to Boston in 2018, I realized that I missed being in the classroom. Thankfully, I began substituting at the British International School of Boston and soon after, a permanent position became available. I am extremely grateful that I was offered a role at BISB helping young people realize their potential in a forward thinking, student led, dynamic environment.
