Computer Science Session with BIS Bratislava

On Wednesday May 25 2022, Computer Science students from BIS Bratislava travelled to Budapest to participate with BIS Budapest students in a session to exchange information about the IBDP Computer Science course.

We discussed a range of topics regarding the IB course, from case studies and Abstract Data Types to our Internal Assessments (IA). A student-led session on Abstract Data Structures ended in success, helping our guest students to fully understand a wide variety of subtopics, including recursion, Stacks, Queues, Linked Lists and Binary Trees. We also gained valuable insights from our guests regarding their courses and how they are approaching the challenging IA. Students from both schools had a wonderful experience and we hope to meet up again soon! Last but not the least, thanks to Ms Arora (BIS Budapest) and Ms Bea (BIS Bratislava), our Computer Science teachers, for organising this session.
