At the end of each IPC topic in Primary, we celebrate the learning that has been achieved. An 'Exit Point' helps us draw on our prior learning, reminding us of all the connections between subjects we have made.
On Friday, just before break, we invited our parents to school to our "Year 3 - Rainforest Cafe". We had learned all about which products can be found in the rainforest, then chose a number of tropical fruits and spices to design and make our own tropical smoothies. We then put our writing skills to good use and applied our learning in literacy. A recipe book was created with our very own recipes for parents to take away and try at home.
All our parents loved their smoothies and we loved sharing them during this fun EXIT POINT!
