Sophie W. & Maile R. aren’t only our Head Girl and Deputy, respectively, but they're also our alumni from the Summer Performing Arts with Juilliard. As we gear up from next season’s program in Switzerland, take a moment to see why these Year 6 students learned so much and achieved much more through this unique experience.

I loved the friendly environment and how the teachers adapted to fit my needs. The performance at the end was such a great touch to show what we did. I learned a lot about ballet, contemporary and tap technique and became more independent, which is a skill I have applied to more than dance. I also learned how to pick up choreography faster and I increased my musicality. Finally, I would recommend it because I had such a fantastic time and learned so much. The teachers were phenomenal and I could not have dreamed of a better environment. Also, I loved going on all the outings such as the chocolate factory and I enjoyed all of the parties my friends and I had after classes.

One of the things that I really liked about this program was that we were able to participate in a festival choir, which gave us a good mixture of dancing and other arts. I also liked the fact that we were seeing a country and campus very different to our own; they took us on field trips, too, which was amazing! I learned so much but my favorite learning curve was developing my skills in tap dance! I had no idea how to do it before this program! I would recommend this camp because all the different activities are lots of fun and you are able to meet so many new friends from all over the world. It is not just one dance experience, but so many experiences rolled into one. It is simply amazing!
