We offer a progressive curriculum that fuels your child’s development from age three to 11. Every week, students in Nursery to Year 6 participate in a P.E. lesson. As the children advance year groups, the curriculum evolves to support their physical and mental growth. They explore coordination, movement, communication, and collaboration.

Curriculum Overview

Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum

Our youngest children focus on the fundamentals of physical development, such as balance, stamina, and coordination. The goal is to help them become confident in their movement.

Key Stage 1 Curriculum

Children in Year 1 and 2 progress to learning about the fundamentals of athletics. Tapping into their desire to play, we teach the children how to play organized games. The focus is on invasion games, such as basketball and soccer, in which players invade the opponents’ territory to score. In the process, th4 children explore physical literacy and refine their motor and manipulation skills.

Key Stage 2 Curriculum

In Years 3-6, we expand the offering of sports and introduce individual activities. The curriculum includes general fitness, hockey, baseball, track and field, gymnastics, and many other fundamental sports.

Curriculum Enhancement

We enhance learning that takes place during the school day with a variety of before- and after-school sports clubs and teams. Children can also participate in the annual Sports Day and Soccer Festival. In the older year groups, children have the opportunity to attend the Nord Anglia Education Global Games as well as a ski trip.
