Fifty of our middle school students braved freezing weather yesterday to sing as the Christmas tree lights were turned on at the Roosevelt Collection! The choir did a great job and got to meet the Alderman and many of the people who make up the local community at our new site. As we draw nearer to opening our second campus in the South Loop, we are excited to get to know our new neighbors and participate in community events.
Everyone was impressed with the music at the tree lighting and the fact that the students could sing so well in such cold conditions! It brought some great cheer to the event and we are all very proud of the students involved.
Many thanks to Mrs. White-Hunt for her hard work in putting together such a fantastic program!
