Year 5

The Lively Leopards and Creative Cougars developed their cooking skills this week with a visit to The Kids’ Table in Wicker Park. They learned how to use rice, fresh vegetables and dressings in order to make a Buddha bowl and linked the learning to their Science topic of Healthy Eating. There were certainly some budding young chefs and the adults were impressed with their knowledge of the ingredients. The cooking will continue next week when the Observant Ocelots and Perfect Panthers also get a chance to test their culinary abilities.

Year 6

The Hardworking Hippos develop their understanding of the properties of circles and practice their compass skills.
