Basketball Teams Score Playoff Spot

  • British International School of Chicago, South Loop | Private School Chicago

By Coach James Brook

Score! Our Junior Varsity and Varsity Boys Basketball Teams have earned a spot in this year's basketball playoffs. It's been a fun-filled season with outstanding commitment from all players, who have consistently demonstrated respect and a positive attitude both on and off the court.

It's been a mixed set of results for Junior Varisty, which started the season with a 3-0 record and has recently fallen short against other schools, losing games by three or four points. We're focused on putting our very best foot forward for playoffs, and we know we have what it takes to reach the next round of playoffs.

Members of the Varsity Team have showed steady signs of improvement, fighting hard for their playoff spot. The team's "never-quit" attitude has been a key feature of its performance, and all the boys have shown consistent teamwork on the court. If we can unite on defense and win rebounds, we're sure to cause an upset!

Both teams will play City Day at Near North Montessori School on Thursday, February 4. Varsity tips off at 6 p.m. and Junior Varsity takes the court at 7 p.m.

Best of luck to both teams!
