Doing Our Part! Primary Children Rally for Donation Drives

  • British International School of Chicago, South Loop | Private School Chicago

This holiday season, we’re once again pleased to partner with Chicago Commons for a variety of collection drives. For 120 years, Chicago Commons has partnered with people across Chicago to help them overcome poverty, discrimination and isolation.

This fall, we’ll be collecting packaged and canned food items as well as toys and coats. These items will be donated through Chicago Commons to families and children in need.

Recently, children in the Primary School had the opportunity to meet Ms. Carolyn Branton from Chicago Commons. The Primary Student Council, which consists of 12 peer-elected students, introduced her and then went back to their classes to explain the drives in more detail.

We’re excited about the partnership!
