Two Teams Equal Success at State Math Contest

  • British International School of Chicago | Private School Chicago

Recently, the Bulldogs achieved fantastic results at the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics High School Math Contest State Finals, which recognizes mathematics achievement through academic competition.

Our 12 students ranked highly in both the team and individual rounds. The Algebra I Team took fifth place out of 39 teams, and Oliver landed among the top 5% of competitors in the individual round, comprised of approximately 160 students. Well done also to the Algebra II Team for ranking 16th.

Our students qualified for the State Finals after taking first place at a Regional Contest in March.
