Way to go, Emre! In early June, he won a medal for earning the highest score on his team at the American Regions Mathematics League (ARML) Competition, held in Iowa City.
The ARML Competition brings together the nation's finest students for what’s often referred to as the World Series of math contests. Though the contest is written for High School students, some exceptional Middle Schoolers (like Emre!) qualify to participate. Competitors take part in a team round, individual round and two relay rounds. In all, more than 120 teams of 15 students compete.
This school year, Emre has scored numerous math awards as part of the UK Mathematics Trust Intermediate Math Contest, MATHCOUNTS Competition and Middle School Mathematics Contest.
We’re so proud! What incredible achievements.
