I attended York St. John University and earned a degree in Education Studies. While studying there, I had the opportunity to work in the United States during the summer, including Camp America and Walt Disney World. It was through these experiences that my love for American culture grew. After finishing my degree, I moved to Lake County, IL for over three years before returning to the South Coast of England to complete my teacher training.
Before moving to Chicago, I worked for an outstanding Primary School located at the edge of the New Forest, where I not only taught in Key Stage 2 but mentored trainee teachers and implemented new teaching approaches across the school. In addition, I gave lectures to newly qualified teachers.
In my spare time, I love to keep fit, read, shop, go to the movies or see a show and socialize with friends. I enjoying cooking and buying new gadgets that I can try out in the kitchen. I also really enjoy traveling and seeing all the beautiful places the world has to offer.
