After growing up in rural Lincolnshire, UK and then completing an Undergraduate degree at Warwick University, I began my teaching career in London, UK. I completed my teacher training and then began in my first post at a vibrant inner London primary school. In 2008 I moved to Chicago where I then took on a teaching position at the Lincoln Park BISC campus, teaching across the Primary phase over the next six years.
Having taken a career break to focus on spending time raising my young children, I’m excited to immerse myself once more in the world of education, and particularly, the BISC community.
I enjoy spending time with family and exploring all that Chicago has to offer, as well as traveling across the United States.
This school is different to all others I have worked at because: I love that the BISC South Loop community is so globally diverse and that all cultures and backgrounds are welcomed and celebrated here. Children are valued as unique individuals and I believe that the staff here truly care and are committed to nurturing and developing the potential in each child.
