From Year 6 onwards, students played regular touch rugby. The final was a repeat of the opening game of the competition, Romans v Normans, which the Normans won. However, Romans won the final and clinched a narrow victory.Upper senior school students participated in their competition in the afternoon. Games were very competitive but after the group stage it was again the Romans and Normans who had progressed through to the final. Romans raced into an early 3-0 lead, before the Normans demonstrated true determination by pulling back three tries and then a fourth to take the lead with two minutes to go. The Romans then fought back, scoring two tries in the last two minutes to clinch victory and a double Roman victory in the lower and senior school competitions. A thrilling final.Well done to all our young rugby players this week, next week we will be starting our athletics.
