Bake sale - Friday Oct. 18

The bake sale was held in school on Friday October 18th, raising 3029RMB, which will be spent on goodies for the children for the Autumn Fair and other upcoming events.  A big thanks to the organisers and to those who baked the delicious cakes.

UN day - Friday Oct. 25

UN day was a great success again this year, with more stalls than ever, and a great, fun way for kids to understand our global culture with nice authentic food.  There were also great performances to enjoy during the Assemblies in the Auditorium.  A big thanks to the organisers and those who came to represent your country.  We are glad students can have some wonderful memories!

Upcoming Events in November

1. Football tournament -Friday & Saturday Nov. 1 & 2

BSN will host the Global Games U11 Football tournament which will be huge event, with 8 other schools participating.  Parent volunteers will support by selling drinks and baked goods, as well as picking up the visiting children from the airport or train station.

2. Autumn Fair - Friday Nov. 8

The Parents Association is currently organizing the Autumn Fair games and Disco party, which is going to be a fun event for children.  We are looking for volunteers to help on the day (8th November), so if you are willing to help at this event, please scan the WeChat code below to join the volunteer group.  Also remember that children (and parents!) can wear their favorite Halloween or other costumes to the Fair - the more creative the better!

3. Uniform sale - Friday Nov. 22

A second-hand uniform sale will take place on Friday 22nd November, where you can purchase old uniforms which are still in good condition, with items for sale from as little as 10RMB.  This is a great way to do our bit for the environment, and to save money at the same time.  A donation box for uniforms is located near the reception desk, so if you have old uniforms, clean and in good condition, please do drop them there.

The PA organised a monthly coffee morning with the head of senior school, Ms. Witt-Willas.  The purpose is to discuss topics which are important for senior school, and all parents of senior school children are welcome.  The dates for the coming months are:
