We are proud to share with you an exciting event for Primary School aged students that will be hosted at the British School of Guangzhou next academic year: the first ever ‘Nord Anglia Education Regional Academic Olympiad.’

This event will take place on Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th November and will be an opportunity to celebrate the outstanding academic talents of our students by competing against other Nord Anglia Education schools from all over China. This Olympiad will involve questions, puzzles and challenges on three disciplines: Logic, Mathematics and Humanities. The event is sure to be an excellent opportunity for our students to demonstrate their academic excellence, while representing the school and forming friendships across our family of Nord Anglia Education schools.

The British School of Nanjing team are now hard at work preparing for this event. The children will be quizzed on 3 disciplines:

  • Mathematics
  • Humanities
  • Reasoning

Each discipline will have a variety of different activities which the children must try to solve in allotted times. Such activities will include: solving logic problems, answering questions about Roman history, riddles/ mind teasers and chess problems.

The 2-day event will be held at the British School of Guangzhou campus which is sure to be an exciting backdrop for the competition ahead.
