November was also a very busy month for our football teams, with nearly 25% of the entire school representing our Foxes in one competition or another.

We kicked off the month hosting the inaugural Nord Anglia Global Games China U11 Football event at BSN. 176 players, 18 teams and 9 schools participated in a two and a half day celebration of football. Our Foxes put in a sterling effort and made us very proud, a special mention must go to our BSN Yellow Girls team who after defeating their team-mates, BSN Navy in the semi-final, finished runners-up after a narrow loss to the British School of Beijing, Shunyi in the final. These were a memorable couple of days for everybody involved  and a huge thank you must go out to all staff, students and parents who came along to support this fantastic event.

A few days later our U13 and U15 boys and girls teams were off to Beijing for the U13 and U15 Global Games Football at BSB. Our Foxes were a credit to themselves as they battled their hearts out in a fiercely competitive, but friendly competition over two and a half days.

A week later, we were off to Shanghai for the annual CISSA Football Cross-River event. This saw five of our Foxes teams competing against other international schools from across the region and greater Shanghai area. It was a great event and conclusion to a hugely successful and enjoyable football season.

The last week of November saw a large number of students in Years 5-8 try out for the annual Global Games multisport events for U11 and U13 Age groups, both of which will be taking place in Shanghai this coming March and June.

Our SISAC Basketballers remain in training for their upcoming Championship in Suzhou in January and we have an upcoming Shanghai Swim League meet at NIS this coming weekend December 7th-8th.

Sign-up information for teams and tournaments in term 2 and 3 will be communicated in the coming days.

A November to remember. Well done everybody!
