From Year 3 upwards we offer and encourage all students to take part in residential educational trips. This year our Year 4 students spent 3 days in Moganshan.
Moganshan is a mountain top tourist region near Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China
Activities included raft building, bamboo weaving, farming and hiking through the bamboo forest.
The key focus is on team building and communication skills. It is also a chance to learn about the importance of our environment in times where pollution and the safety of the earth has never been so important.
The students developed many valuable life skills through the activities and learning to be responsible by being away from home. The students had an amazing time being out in nature and learning about the world around them, outside of the big city.
