YEAR 1
For the past few weeks, we have been very busy getting ready for Christmas. In 1A, we learned new Christmas songs such as Jolly Old Saint Nicholas. Some of brought in Christmas trees to celebrate the season. In 1B, we made Christmas cards for our families and friends. This past Monday was the annual Christmas Fair at BSN and it was so much fun! We loved playing games and making small Christmas presents. We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
See you in 2021!
YEAR 2
Class 2A have had an extremely busy time this week creating clay Christmas ornaments which they had to paint very carefully once they were set. The children also made some beautiful Christmas cards for their families and enjoyed singing Christmas carols together.
Miss Ledgerton is a keen baker so Class 2B worked together to follow a recipe to bake and decorate Christmas Fairy Cakes! The recipe is from a famous English baker called Mary Berry! The children also made some very sparkly Christmas Tree Cards to give to their families!
A very Merry Christmas to all from Year 2!
YEAR 3
The end of term has been packed with lots of exciting activities. In English we have been having fun acting out 'The Three Little Pigs' as well as writing our own alternative version of a traditional tale. The students thoroughly enjoyed doing some Christmas shopping and having a go on all the interesting activities at the Christmas Fair. Well done Year 3 for all your hard work this term, now it's time for a well-earned rest! Wishing you all a very happy holiday!
YEAR 4
During this Joyous Week, The Year Fours started with a super razzmatazzly day, with The Parents' Committee Market and Senior School led Christmas Fayre. Some children even met Santa! Then inspired by Dreamworks' Abominable, The Year 4 mapped their journey from Nanjing to The Himalayas and wrote their own Yeti stories. They drew, wrote, and refined their work. The week ended on a high note, with a class party.
