Qatar Invents - Intensive Engineering Design Experience

The Office of Development, Engagement and Outreach at Texas A&M University at Qatar is happy to start accepting applications for their upcoming program, Qatar Invents. This program was created in partnership between Oxy Qatar and Texas A&M at Qatar, with aims to help build the technical and scientific human capacity that Qatar will need to reach the goals of Qatar National Vision. Outreach initiatives engage hundreds of students per year through sophisticated educational enrichment programs in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fields.

Qatar Invents
Qatar Invents is a weeklong intensive engineering design experience that engages students in multidiscipline/multi-level teams in hands on projects that will push their innovation, creativity, and communication skills. The workshop will have a specific theme and will be designed in collaboration with industry and faculty. The end goal is to provide students the opportunity to acquire skills essential to becoming successful innovation leaders.
The workshop will be conducted from Sunday–Thursday (30 December – 3 January) from 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. This program is designed for students in grades 10–12.
