Artists from The Juilliard School Visit Compass International School

Compass International School (Compass) recently enjoyed visits from Dance and Music artists from The Juilliard School, the world-renowned performing arts conservatory in New York City.

Children at Compass’ four campuses in Doha enjoyed special workshops and assemblies delivered by Joshua Palmer, a Dance Curriculum Specialist and Flutronix Flute Duo, Allison Loggins-Hull and Nathalie Joachim, Music Curriculum Specialists.

All three artists have distinguished careers in performing arts: Allison was the co-principal flutist on the soundtrack to Disney’s 2019 remake of ‘The Lion King’, Nathalie was nominated for a Grammy Award 2020 in the Best World Music Album category and Joshua has served on the Faculty of Ballet Hispánico’s School of Dance.

Compass’ world class teaching team also took part in a series of professional development sessions to ensure the teaching at the school remains at the highest standards.
